Teenager with braces laughing

Ages 9 to 14

Regular treatment

During the regular treatment period between the ages of 9 and 14, the classic tooth and jaw misalignments are treated gently, efficiently and sustainably.

Typical questions at this stage

Is there too little space for your child's teeth? Should the jaws be brought into the right position relative to each other? Does the appearance of the teeth bother them when laughing? At this stage of life, when the permanent teeth are erupting and growth can still be used, these questions can be answered particularly well.

Appropriate treatment time

At this particular stage, so-called non-compliance appliances are used where needed to ensure an appropriate treatment time. Depending on the findings, we combine removable and fixed braces.

A smile for life

We look forward to accompanying your child professionally and competently through this important phase, because a healthy, beautiful smile builds confidence and brings many health benefits for the whole body. For a whole lifetime!

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

What are non-compliance appliances?

Fixed aids that work independently of the patient's cooperation, for example to correct the jaw relationship. They help keep the treatment time reliable.

Fixed or removable braces for my child?

That depends on the misalignment. We often start with removable appliances and later use fixed braces for fine alignment.
